Arkadelphia woman dies in LR rollover

A Clark County woman has died and three others were injured in an early morning wreck Sunday on Interstate 30.

Erica Wofford, 20, of Arkadelphia, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, in Little Rock as the result of a rollover accident. Wofford was a passenger in a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro that was traveling east on I-30 near the 131 mile marker in Pulaski County.

The driver of the vehicle, 21-year-old Jose Linda-Galindo, of Little Rock, attempted to take an exit before “quickly merging” back onto the highway, according to a fatal crash summary filed by Arkansas State Police.

The vehicle rotated to its left and rolled over before it was struck by two other vehicles and coming to a final rest in the median-side shoulder, the report states.

Lindo-Galindo and Kaylee Smith, 19, of Bryant, as well as an unnamed “John Doe” were transported with unknown injuries to UAMS and Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock.

The crash happened at 1:59 a.m. under clear skies and dry road conditions, according to Trooper Austin Kennedy who investigated the accident.
