Perritt Chili Supper returning in 2023

The wonderful Chili Supper Fundraiser tradition, benefiting the Perritt Parent-Teacher-Child (PTC) organization, has been going strong since 1984. In recent years, funds raised by this event have been used to purchase items such as upgraded technology, new choir and assembly risers, “Emergent Reader Series” book sets for kindergarten classrooms, and equipment for cultural events for students. These much-needed items and improvements would not have been possible without the community’s support.

PTC is excited to have the first “normal” Chili Supper event since 2020. Join them in screaming from the rooftops that the Perritt Chili Supper is cinnamon-roll-ing again in 2023. Piping hot chili and delicious cinnamon rolls must be pre-ordered from Perritt students Jan. 10-25. There will be dine-in and drive-through options available from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, at Perritt Primary. An auction of art created by Perritt students, as well as the 2nd grade Nickelodeon choir performance, will take place at 6:15 p.m.

PTC president Christa Neal said the parent group, teachers and students are excited to be back in action. “It is truly a community staple,” Neal said.

To make a sponsorship donation, make checks payable to Perritt PTC and mail to or drop off at 1900 Walnut St., Arkadelphia, AR 71923. Contact Neal at nealc@obu.edu for more information.
