Another stellar performance by senior guard Liyah Smith of the Arkadelphia Lady Badgers was not enough to lift them over the Magnolia Lady Panthers Tuesday night. 

In their 75-72 loss, the Lady Badgers’ seven-point deficit at the half was erased through the 15 points scored by Smith in the period, bringing the game into overtime, where sophomore guard Atesa Johnson’s six and Kishaliya Doss’s five points in overtime lifted the Lady Panthers over Arkadelphia at home.

Senior guard Amya Snowden also dropped 13 points in the outing, while on the Magnolia side, Doss’s 29 led the way for the Lady Panthers in her season best game.

The Lady Badgers head to De Queen on Friday night to face the Lady Leopards in another inter-conference matchup.
