The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Friday, Dec. 30
11:05 a.m.
A North 10th Street man reported the theft of a package while he was out of town.

7:30 p.m.
A Little Rock woman reported a stolen package from her former Arkadelphia address on Welch Street, saying she accidentally shipped it to the wrong location; the $300 sweat suit she had ordered was not there when she drove to search for it.

Police opened an investigation of aggravated robbery and sealed the report as a felony case.

Saturday, Dec. 31
12:36 a.m.
Officers arrested a woman at 4th and Crawford streets following a report of a motorist parked and revving the vehicle engine in the area. Upon arrival they located the suspect behind the wheel of the vehicle, which was parked atop a “huge” pile of leaves.

11:54 a.m.
A Walnut Street resident reported a motorist had struck a fire hydrant near the street and fled the scene.

Police opened a felony investigation of residential burglary and sealed the report as a felony case.

9:24 p.m.
A motorist reported striking a deer in the area of 21st and Pine streets.

Sunday, Jan. 1
11:53 a.m.
Officers arrested a man at his Clark Street residence for DWI and leaving the scene of an accident following a report of a hit-and-run at Clark and Caddo streets.

Police opened an investigation of theft from a vehicle valued between $1,000-$5,000 and sealed the report as a felony case.

5:42 p.m.
A Buck Lane woman reported an unwanted guest had entered her residence while she was away, having captured the incident on security camera.

Monday, Jan. 2
Officers worked a case of endangering the welfare of a minor.

12:04 p.m.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at Cypress Court between a caregiver and a relative of her patient.

Monday, Jan. 2
12:30 a.m.
Deputies responded to a Sugar Loaf Road, Amity, residence for an altercation involving a firearm. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Friday, Dec. 30
3:11 p.m.
Deputies arrested a man at Hickman Road, Amity, following a report of an altercation.

Sunday, Dec. 25
4:33 p.m.
A deputy responded to the emergency room at Baptist Health Medical Center to take a report of a dog bite of a toddler.

Arrests in Clark County

Friday, Dec. 30
Tracy Blankenship, 50, was arrested for theft of a firearm, terroristic act, felon in possession of a firearm and criminal trespass.

Hamilton Jackson, 25, was arrested for theft by receiving and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, Dec. 31
Kameron Reese, 20, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for fleeing, possession of a controlled substance and defective taillights.

Camryn Young, 20, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention.

Wendy McClure, 48, was arrested for failure to comply.

Christina Westrich, 32, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for DWI and careless and prohibited driving.

Sunday, Jan. 1
Christopher Knox, 36, was arrested for DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.

Keveon Stewart, 21, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to comply with terms of probation.

Lynsey Garcia, 28, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for endangering the welfare of a minor.
