The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Thursday, Dec. 15
4:02 p.m.
Police arrested a man at Arkansas Community Correction, 601 S. 7th St., after responding to a complaint of an intoxicated probationer.

6:40 p.m.
Officers responded to a South 16th Street residence for a complaint of an unwanted house guest and a verbal altercation. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival.

Wednesday, Dec. 14
7:10 p.m.
An officer pursued a vehicle from the business park on W.P. Malone Drive to Baptist Health Medical Center without making a stop or arrest. The suspect exited the vehicle at the intersection of Malone and Pine Street to tell the officer he was en route to deliver a baby. He ran inside the hospital once he made it there. The officer noted in his report that he left the hospital supervisor a note, and that it wasn’t a unique encounter with the suspect.

Monday, Dec. 12
Officers investigated a forgery and sealed the report as a felony case.

Thursday, Dec. 15
6:25 p.m.
A deputy arrested a man at a DeGray Road residence after responding to a call regarding a drunk male punching holes in a wall.

Monday, Dec. 12
Mark Lee Balentine, 47, was held for continued detention.

Wednesday, Dec. 14
Christopher Williams, 27, was sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Tristan Seal, 21, was sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Joseph Harrington, 33, was arrested for a bond infraction.

Angel Bryan, 50, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for failure to appear.

Alex Hays, 33, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for DWI-second offense.

Michael Carbaugh, 26, was arrested by Arkansas State Police and held for Ouachita County.

Secret Royse, 27, was arrested by Arkansas State Police and held for another agency.

Tracy Stone, 21, was arrested for failure to comply.

Thursday, Dec. 15
James Lee Grandstaff, 42, was sanctioned to jail until Dec. 19.

Joab Swayze, 36, was arrested and held for another agency.

Joshua Thomas, 42, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to pay child support.

Tracy Blankenship, 50, was arrested for criminal trespass and resisting arrest.
