The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, Oct. 2
12:29 a.m.
Officers responded to a Sylvia Street residence for a report of an accident that had occurred, locating the vehicle in question at 24th and Crawford streets. The SUV was severely damaged, with evidence of having struck a tree. The driver, who refused medical treatment, said she ran off the road somewhere between Gurdon and Arkadelphia.

Police worked a case of breaking or entering involving a juvenile. The report was sealed as a felony.

12:25 p.m.
Officers responded to a hit-and-run accident at a gas station at 3111 Pine St., where a truck driver said he was refueling when a pickup truck towing a U-Haul trailer struck his bumper and drove away.

Saturday, Oct. 1
11:14 a.m.
Officers responded to a Welch Street residence, where a known suspect had carved an expletive into the paint of a vehicle.

Police opened a case of drug possession. The report was sealed as a felony case.

Police investigated an aggravated assault. The report was sealed as a felony case.

11 p.m.
Officers responded to an altercation at the 1000 block of Clinton Street. An argument over the unauthorized use of a vehicle eventually escalated to threats, and the aggressor fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Friday, Sept. 30
9:35 a.m.
Officers responded to an unattended death at a Cypress Road residence.

3:04 p.m.
A South 4th Street woman reported being harassed by her neighbor.

7:06 p.m.
Officers responded to a welfare concern at an apartment complex on South 5th Street.

7:48 p.m.
Officers responded to Walmart to deal with an irate customer and ended up arresting a man for possession of Xanax, which apparently wasn’t fulfilling its purpose.

8:42 p.m.
A woman at the 1500 block of Gresham Street reported a former neighbor keeps taking a dog from her yard, and has done so 10 times during the past year.

Thursday, Sept. 29
Police opened an investigation of a residential burglary. The report was sealed as a felony case.

10:20 a.m.
A deputy responded to a residence at the 3900 block of Central Road for a report of damage done to a vehicle.

Friday, Sept. 30
Zykeea Authur Todd, 29, was arrested for a probation violation.

Pete Bradley Mills, 35, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for possession of a controlled substance.

Donovan Glen Phillips, 20, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for theft by receiving.

Tristen M. Scal, 21, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for theft by receiving.

Sunday, Oct. 2
Joshua Bronson Williams, 31, was arrested by Caddo Valley police and held for continued detention.

Aspen McKenzie Wilson, 21, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention.

Jhonathan Lloyd Pittman, 34, was arrested for a parole violation.

Christopher Barquis Knox, 35, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
