The burn ban for Clark County residents was lifted Thursday afternoon, County Judge Troy Tucker announced.
The ban was lifted at 4:13 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022. Tucker placed the ban on July 18 during a long period of dry, hot weather. Recent rainfall was enough to lift the ban.
County officials made both announcements using the ClarkArk alert system. Residents can sign up for the emergency alert system by texting “CLARK” to 78015 or by visiting https://www.smart911.com/smart911/ref/reg.action?pa=clarkcountyarkansas.
