The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Friday, Aug. 5

3:49 a.m.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a Welch Street residence. The aggressor had left prior to police arrival.

Thursday, Aug. 4

5:31 a.m.
Officers responded to a residence at the 400 block of North Austin Street for a report of a Hispanic male in the caller’s garage. The man, who spoke broken English, was able to convey that he lived on Gresham Street and was given a ride home. There, his roommates relayed that he had been robbed at knifepoint by two black males, causing him to flee and hide in the garage for safety. The robbers made off with his wallet, which contained $70 cash.

11:25 p.m.
Police arrested a Hope man for driving while intoxicated at the intersection of Hollywood Road and Highway 8.

Tuesday, Aug. 2

Wilbert Johnson, 34, was arrested for failure to pay child support.

Wednesday, Aug. 3

Michelle Royce, 54, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for absconding.

Chris Pruitt, 43, was arrested by Caddo Valley police and held for another agency.

Ajay Parrish, 36, was arrested for a parole violation.

Thursday, Aug. 4

Shanna Utzler, 50, was arrested by Amity police for theft of property.

Cleatis Sheets, 24, returned back to facility on previous charges.

Brandon Allen Szwankowski, 24, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for DWI and refusal to submit.
