The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, July 4

1:31 p.m.
Officers responded to a Sylvia Street residence for a domestic disturbance involving a man and woman. The male fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival.

Sunday, July 3

2:02 p.m.
A man reported fraudulent charges to his bank account.

10:52 p.m.
Officers responded to a Robey Street residence for a domestic disturbance and arrested a man.

Friday, July 1

Police opened a forgery investigation.

2:30 p.m.
A woman reported fraudulent charges to her bank account.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office

Monday, July 4

5:30 p.m.
A deputy was summoned to a verbal altercation between two men at a residence at the 400 block of DeGray Road. One of the men had already left the area.

Sunday, July 3

Noon
A Prescott woman reported vandalism to her vehicle, which she had left parked and unattended at the Lower Lake boat ramp on Cedar Grove Road for mechanical issues.

Saturday, July 2

2:52 a.m.
Deputies arrested a woman at a Fall Circle residence for resisting arrest. They had been summoned to the residence for a disturbance between two females.

Edward Wayne Ham, 48, was held for another agency.

Christopher L. Wright, 36, was arrested for theft of property.

Saturday, July 2

Tirel Butler, 18, was arrested for speeding more than 15 mph over the limit and reckless driving.

Holly Hammonds, 30, was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Candace Summers, 32, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for public intoxication.

Lewis McDuffie, 31, was arrested by Gurdon police for public intoxication.

Sunday, July 3

Randall Hollowell, 37, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for disorderly conduct and careless and prohibited driving.

David Gullett, 44, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for third-degree domestic battery.

  1. You let us know about traffic accidents and to avoid the area, but ne er give any further info, like who was involved, who’s at fault, etc.
