In a June 8 reader survey poll, The Arkadelphian asked its readers, “Should Pine Street be renamed to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard?” The poll ended on June 21.
According to our readers, the Arkadelphia City Board of Directors should make no change to Pine Street’s name. Here are the results:
“No”: 292 votes, 86.14%
“Yes”: 47 votes, 13.86%
Total votes: 339
