A Dallas County man who died Tuesday morning in a Highway 7 crash has been identified.

According to an Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary, 53-year-old Robert Sanders, of Sparkman, was traveling northbound in a 2008 Ford F-150 when the vehicle crossed the center line and left the south side of the highway, striking a tree.

Sanders was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was transported to Welch Funeral Home.

Weather and road conditions were listed as clear and dry, respectively, according to Trooper Kevin Hrabal, who investigated the accident.
