Staff members at Henderson State University were honored for their years of service during a luncheon and awards ceremony May 20, 2025, in the Garrison Center Grand Ballroom.
Wanda Harris, an education specialist for Student Support Services, was honored for 35 years of service to Henderson. Vikita Hardwrick, an education specialist for Student Support Services, and Ginger Otwell, research associate for Assessment and Research, were honored for 30 years of service.
Wrenette Tedder, director of Assessment and Research; Angie Bradshaw, administrative specialist for Athletics; and Stephanie Loy, project coordinator for Student Support Services, were recognized for 25 years. Honored for 20 years were Yvette Bragg, graduate admissions & student services coordinator for Graduate Studies, and Rene Loy, administrative assistant for Teachers College.
Recognized for 15 years were Erin Poe, an education specialist for the Disability Resource Center, and Romykia Nelson, administrative specialist for the Educational Renewal Zone Partnership. Honored for 10 years were: Adam Moore, aviation technician; Jimmy Elgas, head men’s basketball coach; Marcus Jones, chief of police; and Julie Lacy-McKenzie, director of student activities for Student Affairs and Student Success.
Five-year honorees were: Kirk Warner, aviation technician; Stephanie Hebert, director of Educational Talent Search; Lisa McCollum-Smith, director of Financial Aid; David Mills, senior software systems developer for Information Technology Services; Alan Hall, assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator; Christopher Adams, associate vice chancellor for Finance and Administration; Jordan Dennis, chief flight instructor for Arkansas Aviation Academy; and Mason Williams, aviation technician.
