The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Wednesday, April 6

Police opened a felony case of forgery

12:42 p.m.
Officers arrested a man at Pine Court Apartments for violating a no-contact order following a disturbance between him and a female.

6:18 p.m.
Officers cited a man at his Cedar Grove Road home following a report of a hit-and-run an off-duty officer reported at North 26th Street and Short Leaf, where he was seen leaving the roadway, driving through a pile of limbs and striking a utility box.

Police opened a felony case of a terroristic act.

Tuesday, April 5
8:35 a.m.
Officers arrested a pedestrian for a misdemeanor warrant at 6th and Clay streets. The arresting officer used a Taser to stop the man after he refused to comply with commands to stop.

1:13 p.m.
A North 10th Street Dollar General employee reported someone struck her vehicle without reporting the accident, sometime between March 31 and the time of the report.

Monday, April 4
1:54 p.m.
A Sparkman woman reported falling victim to an online scam involving the sale of a shirt to the shyster. The complainant said she received a check in the mail for $1,985, and days after depositing it the shyster contacted her again to request a refund of $1,885 because the check was written for the wrong amount. The complainant said she complied with that request and realized a day later she had been scammed.

Monday, April 4
Justin Lee Reppo, 33, was arrested for failure to appear.
Hunter Lynn Mitchell, 26, was arrested for a parole violation.
Jody Keith Howell, 45, was arrested for terroristic threatening and criminal mischief.

Tuesday, April 5
Little Ezekiel Gordon, 47, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear, probation violation and resisting arrest.
Kayla Lynn Arthur, 24, was arrested for probation revocation.
Olen Howell, 49, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for driving with a suspended license.
Apollo Demond Blake, 45, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Wednesday, April 6
Stephen Brown, 67, was arrested for public intoxication and criminal mischief.
Elizabeth Nicole Carpenter, 31, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Jason Michael Barron, 39, was arrested by Amity police for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Quartez Burton, 23, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for violating a no-contact order.
Juan Scott, 55, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for violating a no-contact order.
Clint Jacob Beavers, 30, was arrested for a warrant.
Tyree Cobb, 32, was arrested for child neglect.
Meredeth Leann Pinson, 34, was arrested and held for continued detention.
