The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Tuesday, Jan. 4
Police opened a felony investigation into a theft of property ($1,000-$5,000) case.

Monday, Jan. 3
Police opened an investigation of theft of property.

8:22 a.m.
Officers responded to a residence at South 23rd Street, where a woman reported hearing someone inside her home while she lay in bed. Officers cleared the residence, finding no intruders.

8:49 a.m.
A Millcreek Apartments woman reported the theft of a mail parcel containing $180 in clothing and jewelry.

11:44 a.m.
A Smithton Road, Gurdon, man reported losing his wallet, possibly at the Post Office in Arkadelphia.

12:57 p.m.
A South 26th Street man reported losing his trailer tags somewhere en route to Houston in the past week.

6:45 p.m.
Officers arrested a De Queen man at Walmart for shoplifting a hover board, alien action figure and a propane bottle, valued at a total of $150.

Monday, Jan. 3
8:45 a.m.
A Unity Road woman reported losing her engagement ring, valued at $7,000.

Arrests

Monday, Jan. 3
Megan Karina Gearhart, 23, was arrested for failure to appear.
Richard Jerome McClure, 31, was detained on unlisted charges.

Tuesday, Jan. 4
Rudisha Veniece Williams, 34, was arrested for bond revocation.
Jose de Jesus-Villavicencio, 28, was arrested by Gurdon police for public intoxication.
