The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Tuesday, Dec. 28
1 p.m.
A South 14th Street woman reported waking up from her dog’s aggressive barking to find an unknown male outside her window. She said she put on her glasses and walked outside, but the person was gone.

9:10 p.m.
A Bismarck man was arrested at Walmart for violating a protection order. Officers were summoned to the parking lot for a report of a man who threw a rock through a car window.

Officers opened a felony case of breaking and entering.
Officers worked a case of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Monday, Dec. 27
Officers opened a felony case of first-degree battery and residential burglary.

8:50 a.m.
A Rowlett, Texas, woman reported a known female had been making harassing phone calls and social media posts regarding her relatives in Arkadelphia.

11:21 a.m.
An Ashbury Court man reported someone had been entering his apartment and drilling holes in the ceiling. The responding officer observed at least three recently drilled holes in the ceiling. The complainant was advised to contact his landlord.

12:31 p.m.
Officers responded to a residence at the 700 block of South 25th Street for a welfare concern.

Friday, Dec. 24
10:09 p.m.
Officers responded to a residence at the 200 block of North 5th Street for a physical disturbance between brothers. One was taken into custody for third-degree battery.

2:33 p.m.
A hit-and-run was reported in Walmart’s parking lot.

Monday, Dec. 27
10:29 p.m.
A deputy patrolling Highway 67 near Georgia-Pacific came upon a motorist who had just struck a dog. The deputy located the owner’s number on its collar and learned it had been stolen weeks prior. 

3:18 p.m.
Deputies were summoned to a residence at South Main Street, Okolona, for a nuisance dog that had been getting into a neighbor’s trash. Contact was made with the dog’s owner, who vowed to rectify the situation by securing the canine in its own yard.

Sunday, Dec. 26
10:42 p.m.
Deputies responded to a residence at Center Ridge Road, Amity, for a physical altercation between two men; one fled into the woods prior to police arrival but eventually turned himself in while deputies combed the area in search for the suspect. He was taken into custody for an unrelated warrant.

Friday, Dec. 24
10:19 p.m.
Deputies responded to the 600 block of Highway 128 for a physical disturbance between an unmarried couple after the female attempted to set the man’s pants ablaze. Having been off her medication for several weeks, she agreed to a courtesy transport to the hospital for mental treatment.

Wednesday, Dec. 22
Bobby Holliman, 46, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for a warrant.
Conturier Chasity, 20, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for possession of a controlled substance.

Thursday, Dec. 23
Devin Wooten, 25, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for unlisted charges.

Friday, Dec. 24
Steven Dewayne Youngblood, 46, was arrested for a warrant.
Gideon Anderson Curlin, 28, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for third-degree domestic battery.

Sunday, Dec. 26
Cortney Finley, 33, was arrested by Malvern police for a warrant.
Camron Pacheco, 20, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for unlisted charges.

Tuesday, Dec. 28
Quartez Burton, 23, was arrested for failure to appear.
Dawon Charles Jackson, 52, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for a warrant.
Dakota Austin Davis, 26, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for violating a protection order.
