Stafford earns All-America honor

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Ouachita Baptist University offensive lineman Peyton Stafford has been selected to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-America Second Team for the 2021 season.

Stafford becomes the 35th individual to earn All-America honors in the history of Ouachita football.

In 2021, Stafford was Ouachita’s top offensive lineman, helping the Tigers lead the Great American Conference and rank fourth in the nation in rushing offense with a team average of 287 yards per game. The Tigers also ranked third in the nation in sacks allowed and second in tackles for loss allowed.

Individually, Stafford graded out at 90 percent for the season, averaged 11 dominations blocks per game, and did not allow a sack all season. He played in every snap this season when the first string was on the field.
Other awards for Stafford this season include All-GAC first team and D2CCA All-Region first team.
