Castillow, a senior from Greenwood just wrapped up her third season with the Tigers, and plans to return next year with an extra year of eligibility due the chaos that was created with the COVID-19 pandemic in the fall of 2020. She finished the year ranked third in the GAC in digs with an average of 5.27 per set and a final total of 559. Throughout her career at Ouachita, she has accumulated 1,450 digs, which ranks fifth in school history.

Low, a senior from Austin, Texas, just wrapped up her fourth season with the Tigers. In 2021, she had 234 kills and a team-high 76 total blocks. She shined in her efficiency, ranking second in the GAC in hitting percentage at .323, which is the fifth best percentage in Ouachita single-season history. Her career .259 hitting percentage also ranks fifth at Ouachita, and she also has the fifth highest total of career blocks for the Tigers at 284.

“Emily and Lexie were our two biggest constants this season,” said Ouachita Head Coach Allison Frizzell-Kizer. “Emily controlled our front line every day, and I am so proud of what she did this season and throughout her long career. Lexie was one of our senior captains, and used her voice and work ethic to lead the team. We’re excited she decided to come back and play another year with us.”
