RUSSELLVILLE — For the second time this season, Ouachita Baptist University women’s soccer player Alexis Perry has been named the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Perry had a big points week for the Tigers with one goal and three assists as Ouachita closed out of the regular season with an overtime loss to Harding and an overtime win over East Central.
Perry had two assists in 3-2 loss to Harding last Tuesday in double-overtime. It was the first multi-assist game of her career.
In the regular season finale this past Saturday at home against East Central, Perry scored a golden goal with 18 seconds remaining in the second overtime period, her sixth goal of the year. She was also involved in Ouachita’s first goal in the 2-1 win, getting the assist on Shanley Rogers’ goal in the 60th minute.
