ARKADELPHIA — Ouachita Baptist University Head Baseball Coach Luke Howard has revealed his team’s schedule for the 2022 season.
Ouachita will play a challenging schedule in the spring to start the year, including its season-opening weekend in Hot Springs at the new Majestic Park for the Dugan Collegiate Baseball Invitational. The Tigers take on four teams from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association that weekend (February 3-6).
“We are excited to be back to playing a full, 50-game schedule this upcoming spring,” said Howard. “Opening up the season at Majestic Park is going to be fun and challenging for our student-athletes.”

Only two of the 50 games schedules are against teams outside of the NCAA Division II.
The Tigers have an eight game homestand early in the season, including opening conference play at home against Southern Nazarene February 18-19. Other home conference series include Southern Arkansas (March 11-12), Southwestern Oklahoma State (March 18-19), Arkansas-Monticello (April 8-9), and East Central (April 22-23).
“Our conference is solid from the top to the bottom,” said Howard. “You have to be ready to play every weekend, and the midweek games we have scheduled this year should be exciting and beneficial for everyone.”
The Great American Conference Championship Tournament will be held in Hot Springs May 7-10 at Majestic Park where Ouachita is set to open its season.
