Clark County Democrats to host Gen. Wesley Clark at Clinton Day Dinner

The Democratic Party of Clark County is proud to announce that the 25th annual Clinton Day Dinner will take place on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m. on the campus of Henderson State University, in the Garrison Grand Ballroom.

The theme of this year’s dinner is “Reflecting on our Pasts, Focused on our Future.”

The party is expecting a sold-out crowd from all over Southwest and Central Arkansas to attend its silver anniversary celebration. Counties attending include Little River, Garland, Hot Spring, Howard, Pike, Saline, Sevier, Miller and the Pulaski County Democratic Women. The Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus, the Senior Caucus and the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village are also expected to attend.

For 25 years the Democratic Party of Clark County’s Clinton Day Dinner has served as a stable and well-attended political event that has served as a meeting point for so many Democrats across the state.

This year the guest speaker is retired General Wesley K. Clark. Several candidates who have announced their intention to run in the Democratic Primary will also be in attendance.
