The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Tuesday, Oct. 19
9:13 p.m.
Officers and firefighters responded to an apartment complex at the 600 block of South 5th Street for a fire. Upon arrival they found a pile of mattresses ablaze near a garbage bin that was also smoking. Firefighters doused the mattresses, which had been piled there for a few months.

Police worked a domestic battery case involving a juvenile.

Police worked a disorderly conduct and resisting arrest case involving a juvenile.

Monday, Oct. 18
10:01 a.m.
Officers arrested a Pine Bluff man for public intoxication and inhaling intoxicants after responding to the wooded lot adjacent to Atwood’s for a report of a suspicious person in the area.

10:35 a.m.
Officers responded to a residence at the 200 block of Druid Hills Road for a verbal altercation between two females.
Police opened a felony case of residential burglary.

Sunday, Oct. 17
8:11 a.m.
Officers arrested a man at the 2300 block of Walnut Street for public intoxication.

Saturday, Oct. 16
9:46 p.m.
Police arrested a Hot Springs man at the 600 block of Main Street for public intoxication, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Officers were summoned to the location for a report of a man attempting to steal city-owned chairs from the Arkadelphia Festival of the Arts.

Friday, Oct. 15
4:25 a.m.
Deputies investigated a car accident at the railroad crossing on Witherspoon Road. The investigation began when Baptist Health Medical Center staff advised a female had been admitted to the emergency room following a rollover accident. The vehicle was found as it was being towed from the scene; however, the driver had not been located at the time the report was filed. He faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident.

Wednesday, Oct. 13
8 a.m.
A Highway 26 woman reported employees of a roofing company she hired had been trespassing on her property after she canceled the job.

Friday, Oct. 15
Bryan Taylor, 44, continued detention.
Kasey Speer, 32, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for public intoxication.
Tyler Mauldin, 22, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for criminal mischief.
Cameron Smith, 20, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for third-degree domestic battery.

Saturday, Oct. 16
Andrew Lewis, 30, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for public intoxication, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and theft of property.
Cameron House, 40, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for driving while intoxicated.
Stefon Gill, 33, was arrested for failure to comply.

Sunday, Oct. 17
Mercardo Anderson, 24, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for third-degree domestic battery.
David James Turner, 21, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for public intoxication and criminal mischief.
Delta D. Hill, 47, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for public intoxication.
James Bradley Biddle, no age listed, was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Frederic Lee Green, 52, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for driving while intoxicated.

Monday, Oct. 18
Kasey Speer, 31, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for public intoxication.

Tuesday, Oct. 19
Ieshia Bert Grey, 39, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and living near a school or daycare as an offender.
