RUSSELLVILLE — For the third time this season and fifth time in her career, Ouachita Baptist University soccer player Michele Snow has been named the Great American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week.

Snow earns the honor after recording a career-high 11 saves in a 2-1 double-overtime road win over East Central this past Sunday. The biggest of the 11 saves came with five minutes remaining in the double overtime period on an ECU penalty kick that would have ended the game.

Overall this season, the North Richland Hills, Texas native leads the GAC in goals against average (.713), save percentage (89.2 percent), and total saves (66). She ranks second in the league in saves per game (6).

Snow and the Tigers (7-3-1, 4-2 GAC) are back in action this Thursday, October 21 at home against Southern Nazarene. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. at Kluck Field.
