Dispatch Desk: Wednesday, Sept. 14

The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

7:36 p.m.
A Mill Creek Drive man reported a broken window on his vehicle. The responding officer, observing and noting freshly mown grass and rocks near the vehicle, deduced it was an accident.

9:07 a.m.
A woman reported a PayPal account was opened in her name in 2020 and used in August with a fraudulent $9.99 charge.

3 p.m.
A Little Rock woman reported her daughter missing, having not seen her for half a month, and suspected she was in the Arkadelphia area. The reporting officer noted two occasions in August when the missing person had run-ins with local law enforcement. She was entered into ACIC as a missing person.

Police worked a case of terroristic threatening involving a juvenile.

Monday, Sept. 12

1:38 p.m.
Officers responded to an unattended death at a South Austin Street residence.

7:26 p.m.
Police arrested a Higden man at Walmart for shoplifting.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

2 a.m.
A deputy was summoned to a residence at Highway 53 South in Gurdon for a disturbance between two males, one of whom returned a borrowed vehicle in poor condition. He reportedly became irate when confronted, punching a hole in a door and wrecking a room before fleeing the scene on foot.

Arrests in Clark County

Monday, Sept. 12

Ebony Marsh, 34, was held for a court appearance.

Stacey Wayne Tuggle, 50, was arrested by Hot Spring County deputies for third-degree battery and absconding.

Cade Hank, 18, was arrested by Ouachita police for possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of an accident.

Tristian Zomora, 21, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for expired tags, no liability insurance and possession of a controlled substance.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

Justin Wheeler, 34, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for shoplifting and failure to appear.

Christopher Beasley, 40, was arrested for parole revocation.
