Felony charges have been filed against an Arkadelphia man who narcotics agents say was in possession of ecstasy, marijuana and a firearm.
Bud Tillman, 34, of 1010 S. 16th St., faces felony drug possession charges. A Group 6 Narcotics affidavit filed by Agent Roy Bethell notes that Tillman was pulled over on Aug. 25 for speeding on 5th Street. Questioned about a strong odor of marijuana, Tillman reportedly asked that officers write him a ticket and let him go.
Upon further interrogation, Tillman admitted to having a marijuana blunt, which police seized as evidence as they searched the vehicle. Located inside the vehicle was a semi-automatic handgun and a pill bottle containing five tablets of ecstasy.
Tillman was arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center, and the ecstasy weighed 1.7 grams, according to Bethell’s affidavit.
