The Arkadelphia Alliance and Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting at Big Red and Dairy Queen, 3005 W. Pine St. at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1.

Owners David and Doug Hendrix were there with staff and multiple business leaders and residents.

“We’re very excited to be here,” David Hendrix said, noting Doug was assistant manager of the Safeway in Arkadelphia during his college years. “We’ve always since that time wanted to open a business in Arkadelphia. We’re happy to partner with Dairy Queen, and we look forward to serving Arkadelphia.”

Nikki Chandler, executive vice president of the Alliance, said, “We are so thankful that the families that own Big Red and Dairy Queen considered Clark County to be worthy of their business. We are proud that Big Red and Dairy Queen are both Chamber members! Their investment in us shows that we are on the right path to bringing more opportunities to our community.”
