SEARCY — The Ouachita Baptist University women’s cross country team picked up its second straight team win to start the 2021 season on Friday with a first place finish at the Steve Guymon Invitational, hosted by Harding University.
The Tigers came in first out of six teams with 36 points and an average of 19:44 for the 5K course. Ouachita had three runners inside the top 10 and seven in the top 20.
Mackenzie Davis was Ouachita’s top individual for the second straight meet with a runner-up finish at a time of 19:00.6. Jaci McGregor (19:15.7) finished third, Logan Warren (19:20.3) finished fourth, Macie Cash (19:42) finished sixth, Becca Beard (20:13.1) finished 11th, Kristen Holeyfield (20:24.2) finished 15th, Sara Holman (20:41.5) finished 19th, and Kyndal Moyer (20:45.6) rounded out Ouachita’s top 20 finishers at 20th.
Ouachita is back at home for its next meet, which is the Tiger Invitational on October 1.
