ARKADELPHIA — Following a dominant win over Southern Nazarene this past Saturday, the Ouachita football team has moved into the top 10 of three national polls this week.
The American Football Coaches Association has moved the Tigers up two spots to No. 9 in this week’s coaches poll to match NCAA.com Power 10 rankings. The Tigers were not previously ranked by the NCAA. Also, the D2Football.com poll has Ouachita moving up three spots to No. 8 this week.

In all three polls, several teams moved up due to a pair of top 10 teams losing this past Saturday (Minnesota State and Texas A&M-Commerce). Defending national champion West Florida remains the near unanimous No. 1.
Ouachita beat SNU 41-3 this past Saturday on the road for its 29th consecutive conference victory. The Tigers look for 30 this Saturday, September 18 at home against Arkansas Tech. Kickoff from Cliff Harris Stadium is at 6 p.m.
