Reddies crack AFCA Top-25 Poll at No. 25

WACO, Texas β€” Henderson State broke into the AFCA Division II Top-25 Poll at No. 25 on Monday morning following a 55-7 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State.

The Reddies (2-0) are now one of just two Great American Conference teams ranked inside the AFCA Top-25. The appearance in the national coaches’ poll on Monday clinches the eighth season in the last decade in which Henderson was ranked in the Top-25 at some point.

HSU treated its fans to an offensive explosion in its first home game of the season on Saturday. The Reddies racked up 623 total yards and found the end zone seven times.

Henderson puts its new national ranking on the line this Saturday when it travels to Monticello, Arkansas to take on UAM at 6 p.m.
