Price named president of State Insurance Agents Association

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — Nathan Price, owner of Price & Company Insurance in Arkadelphia, was elected president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas, commonly known as Big I Arkansas, at the association’s recently held installation ceremony. Price was sworn into office by Arkansas Insurance Commissioner Alan McClain.

The association, headquartered in North Little Rock, is the largest independent insurance agents association in the state with more than 400 agency members and company partners.

Price will lead the 2021-2022 Executive Committee of Big I Arkansas. Other members serving as officers include Nancy Jackson, president-elect, Roberson & Associates, Benton, Drew Higginbothom, vice president, Smith & Company, Forrest City, Brandi McKinney, secretary/treasurer, McGhee Insurance NWA, Rogers, and Bryan Clinkscales, state national director, Boone Ritter Insurance, Springdale.

“Nathan will bring great leadership skills and vision to our organization,” said Kelley Erstine, chief executive officer of Big I Arkansas. “His knowledge of insurance and the entire industry serves all of us well in our focus to be relevant to our membership.”

“I am truly honored to take over as President of Big I Arkansas and to follow in the footsteps of those before me. This is an honor I do not take lightly,” said Price. “I hope to continue the great tradition here at Big I Arkansas, and I urge everyone to get involved as this is such a great time for our association.”

Price is a 2004 graduate from the University of Arkansas Walton College of Business. He is also a Certified Insurance Counselor, obtaining the national designation in 2007.
