The Arkadelphia Lady Badgers (11-6) faced true hardship in their 89-32 loss to the Nashville Scrapperettes (16-3) Friday night, as they went without a single field goal in the first quarter on their way to allowing 40 points in the period.
Arkadelphia will take this win into Nashville as they take on the Lady Scrappers in what is shaping up to be a test of mettle for the Lady Badgers.
The Arkadelphia Badgers (10-4) held down home court Friday night in their 61-44 win over the Hope Bobcats (6-7) behind the scoring efforts of senior guard Chris Gray and sophomore guard James Elgas who both combined for 40 points on the night.
Arkadelphia jumped out to a quick 20-4 lead at the end of the first quarter, and never let it go, as Snowden had nine of her team’s 20 in the period. From there, they rode their lead into the end of the game.
The Reddies scored big in the first half, defeating the Lady Rangers 72-64 inside the Duke Wells Center.
It was a rough night for the Arkadelphia Badgers (9-4) in their 76-60 loss to the Camden-Fairview Cardinals (5-4).
