Letter to the Editor: County judge candidate should pay taxes on time

In my opinion, a county judge should be as ethical as they can be. They should pay their taxes on time, and they should not be delinquent on taxes for 4 properties they own in Clark County for at least 4 consistent years.

In my opinion, if you can’t afford property taxes for all 4 properties as well as their upkeep, sell the property so someone can make it their own home. Don’t keep the properties, delay paying your taxes, and create dilapidated housing (as seen in property photos). From the photos I can see online through https://www.actdatascout.com/, this is the case with Bill Rogers.

When did he finally pay his taxes on time? 2025- the same time he wanted something from the county.

After 4+ years of not paying, he only paid taxes to the county when he wanted a job from the county. Otherwise, it seems he did not care to do his legal duty.

This information is sourced from https://www.actdatascout.com/ and is public record. I didn’t have to buy or sign anything to access this.

Please note that the previous years of non-delinquent taxes are not a suggestion that they were previously paying and then quit. From public record, most of these properties were owned by other people and the taxes weren’t paid by Bill and Denise Rogers from the time they acquired the property in their names.

I have been told that this is “letters to the editor” and not “screenshots to the editor,” which is why all of this is typed out. Feel free to see for yourself by going to https://www.actdatascout.com/RealProperty/Arkansas/Clark, typing their first and last names in, then hitting search. Once you click on the properties, you can click the “tax detail” button at the top.
