Phillip Wilkins

Phillip Wesley Wilkins, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He was born on July 2, 1961, in Conroe, Texas, to Ronald W. and Carolyn Wilkins. Phillip grew up in Texas and spent much of his life there before moving to Arkadelphia, Arkansas, in 2011, where he made his home with his mother.  Phillip was a proud graduate of the Hughen Center – Bob Hope School in Port Arthur, Texas.  Phillip was a man who valued service, loyalty, history, and community. 

As a young man, he earned the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout, an accomplishment that reflected his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to helping others. His love and support for the Boy Scouts continued throughout his life, and he remained a strong supporter of the organization.  Phillip also had a lifelong appreciation for aviation and history. He was honored to be an honorary member of the Confederate Air Force, an organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of military aviation. This recognition reflected his genuine interest in aviation, historic aircraft, and preserving the stories and legacy of those who served. 

Phillip also had a deep respect and appreciation for those who serve as first responders. He was a steadfast supporter of law enforcement and developed meaningful friendships with members of the law enforcement community, including the Clark County Sheriff, with whom he became a friend. His support was genuine and reflected his belief in the importance of those who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting their communities. 

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald W. and Carolyn Wilkins; his grandparents, C.W. and Grace Wilkins and C.L. “Preacher” and Lucille Parsley. 

He is survived by his sisters, Leslie (James) White of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and Nancy Benham of Haltom City, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Matthew White of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; Rachel (Brian) King of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Mary Beth White of Kansas City, Missouri; Grace Benham and Luke Benham, both of Haltom City, Texas; along with extended family and friends who will cherish his memory. 

Phillip will be remembered for his generous spirit, his dedication to the causes and people he cared about, his love of aviation and history, and the lasting friendships he made throughout his life. His commitment to Scouting, his appreciation for historic aviation, his respect for law enforcement, and, most importantly, the love he shared with his family will remain a lasting part of his legacy.  Though he is no longer with us, Phillip’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.  We celebrate with him that he is standing tall and able to speak clearly now that he is in heaven with Jesus.

Rest peacefully, Phillip. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
