Louise Jodon

Betty Louise Gregory Jodon was born in Fort Worth, Texas, January 11, 1945.  She was adopted by Louis M. and Gertrude W. Gregory on January 28, 1945.  

After a year in Fort Worth they moved to Shreveport, LA. She had one brother, Joe Gregory (Judy) of Shreveport. She became a Christian in 1954 and joined First Baptist Church in Shreveport. She graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport in 1963. She received a B.S. degree in Medical Technology From LA Tech, Ruston, LA, and worked in hospital laboratories in Shreveport, Warrensburg, MO, and Hampton, AR. She also worked in craft shops in Pine Bluff, AR, and Camden, AR.  

She married Ray Jodon on November 30,1968. She enjoyed reading, cooking, wood working, crafts, handwork, quilting, and sewing.  KB5SAE was her call sign as an Amateur Radio Operator with a General License. She enjoyed singing alto in her church choirs and served on a number of church committees.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church’s music program, library, or the current building fund.
