Jeff Hill

Jeffrey Wayne Hill, age 63, of Delight, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at his home.  He was born on July 20, 1962, in Murfreesboro, the son of the late Charles Edward and Evelyn McDonald Hill.  

Jeff attended Delight High School.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator.  Jeff was a member of the Pisgah Church of Christ.  He enjoyed buying and selling cars and trucks, riding around in the hills and spending time with his family and friends.  

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Hill and one son, Carson Hill. 

Survivors are his mother, Evelyn Jordan of Kilgore, TX, his wife of thirty years, Julie Lamb Hill of Delight, one daughter, Emily Hill of Delight, one sister, Sherry Bell (Keith) of New Hope, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Delight Church of Christ with Brent Alexander and Leon McKinnon officiating. 

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the church. 

Interment will be in Antoine Cemetery. 

Pallbearers are Heath VanCamp, Logan Burress, Jimmie Henderson, Noah Cox, Dale Miller, Steve Spickard, John Gatliff and Clay Spickard. 

Honorary pallbearers are Kevin McLelland and Greg “Pooh” Ruchalski.
