The Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Renew Arkadelphia Exterior Renovation Grant.
This year’s selected businesses include Arkadelphia Eye Care, Berry Legal & Tax Consulting, Heard Chiropractic Clinic, Hope Community Church, Suttle Ridge at DeGray, and Tri-Lakes CASA, Inc.
“When our local businesses invest in their storefronts, they improve the entire Arkadelphia community,” said Jon Merryman, EVP and Chamber Director of the Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are thrilled to partner with this year’s grant recipients to bring their visions to life, boost our local curb appeal, and keep our community vibrant and welcoming for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.”
The Renew Arkadelphia grant initiative plays a vital role in enhancing Arkadelphia’s economic resilience by empowering local businesses to improve the appearance and longevity of their storefronts. As a matching grant, the program provides financial assistance to help small businesses invest in much-needed exterior upgrades, revitalizing façades, boosting curb appeal, and reinforcing their presence in the community. The Chamber matches business or property owner investments up to $2,500, with the goal of driving more foot traffic, expanding commercial opportunity, and contributing to the city’s long-term economic vitality.
2026 Recipients and Projects:
• Arkadelphia Eye Care – Celebrating seven months in Arkadelphia, the practice is complementing its ongoing building renovations with major exterior cleanup. The project includes removing a dilapidated storage building, revitalizing flower beds with fresh mulch and seasonal plants, and adding rear parking to better accommodate patients and staff.
• Berry Legal & Tax Consulting – In business for 30 years, the firm will completely refresh its exterior. Updates include power washing, replacing rotted fascia and trim, applying a fresh coat of Alabaster paint, and installing a new dark grey metal entry awning over the rear exit to match the existing roof.
• Heard Chiropractic Clinic – Now in its third year of business in Arkadelphia and recently settled into a new location, the clinic is utilizing the grant to install a permanent new sign.
• Hope Community Church – Celebrating 32 years (previously Pentecostal Church of Arkadelphia), the church is undergoing a comprehensive exterior refresh. This includes installing six new black exterior door awnings, adding architectural accent paint, repainting the drive-through area, and modernizing the primary campus sign with a waffle-style design and new LED lighting.
• Suttle Ridge at DeGray – In its third year of business, Suttle Ridge will upgrade its property to improve accessibility and curb appeal with a new fence, improved sidewalks, and fresh landscaping.
• Tri-Lakes CASA, Inc. – Serving the community for over 11 years (and 17 months at its current location), the organization will install professional exterior signage and make property-wide landscaping improvements to create a welcoming environment.
Each of the 2026 recipients brings a unique vision for enhancing their space. By investing in these updates, the Renew Arkadelphia Grant helps ensure that local businesses continue to thrive while also preserving the historic and visual character of our community.
The Arkadelphia Alliance and Chamber is proud to continue investing in the growth and visual appeal of local businesses that define the character and culture of our community.
