A Goza Middle School student was hurt Tuesday morning in the student drop-off lane of the campus parking lot.
Details of the accident are limited due to the student’s age and because of HIPPAA privacy rules.
The accident happened at about 7:40 a.m. on May 19, 2026. The female student apparently exited the moving vehicle that transported her to the school, and upon doing so the vehicle ran over her leg.
The Arkadelphia Fire Department, Pafford Emergency Medical Services and Arkadelphia Police Department responded.
The student was reportedly awake and alert while first responders tended to the her prior to transport to the hospital. The student was ultimately transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
