“Esha”, as she was affectionately called, was born into this life on August 22, 1994, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was the oldest daughter born to Larry Washington and Linda Marie Young. She accepted Christ at a tender age and attended Mt. Canaan Baptist Church.
Intelligent, shy, and fiercely loyal, she formed lifelong friendships with many classmates at Gurdon High School and a special bond with her sisters. She graduated in 2013 and continued her studies at Southern Arkansas University, and Grand Canyon University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She was inducted into the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. Esha worked in the medical field for CIGNA .
Her greatest joy was being a big sister to Larinda and Jalen. She forged life while inspiring and challenging them to reach their highest potential. While growing up, she loved to apply makeup, style her hair, polish her nails, and accessorize with jewelry. This fascinated Esha and eventually influenced her interests in beauty and cosmetics.
Esha’s name was synonymous with the phrase “social butterfly.” Her energetic personality, her giving nature and her pursuit of the next best thing was a magnet for those who wanted her energy to rub off on them. She enjoyed all genres of music, watching movies and was a die-hard wrestling fan.
Warm, sassy, and always full of life, Esha worked hard and played harder. She enjoyed Facebook which allowed her to stay connected and encourage others with a beautiful “selfie” and an inspiring quote. She never put an expiration date on her dreams and lived life on purpose.
Esha was given the gift of rest on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Although her stay may seem too brief, her life will leave indelible memories with her beloved mother, Linda M. Young of Gurdon; her sister, Larinda Washington; brother, Jalen Sproles and her niece, Journei Sproles; her grandmother, Alene Kelley; aunts, Lori (Simetrius) Kelley, Phyllis Washington, Mattie Norman and Doretha Hopson; uncles, Dorsey Kelley, Thomas LAllen, Willie Young, Bobby Young, Lee (Cynthia) Young, Charles Young, and Minister Ray Thomas; a special friend, Candice Bell and her bestfriend, Myeshia Thomas. She also leaves an innumerable number of cousins, friends, and acquaintances. She was preceded in her passing by her beloved father, Larry Darnell “Choppa” Washington (August 20, 2018); her grandparents, Phillip and Johnnie Lee Allen, and grandfathers, Willie Freeman Kelley, Sr., and Willie Young, Sr.
