Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk’s Office, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description when available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.
The top real estate transaction of the past two weeks is the $575,000 sale of 333 acres of timberland located northwest of Okolona and dissecting Haretown Road. Clint Cornelius, of Prescott, bought the acreage from RALS LLC and GEMA LLC, both Brinkley-based companies managed by Rebecca Scheier and Brian Abrahamson, respectively.
In Amity, Sloan and Kathryn Speights bought a 2,733-SF brick home and a 152-acre spread on Kirksey Road for $321,000. Seller is Michael and Emma Sirmon.
On the Clark/Dallas county line south of Dalark, David Brazeale’s DGB Properties LLC, of Sparkman, bought 80 acres of timberland accessible by Dallas 240. Aretha Woods, of Maumelle, sold the property for $220,000.
Another riverside lot in Caddo Paddock, located on Old Military Road near Caddo Valley, sold to James and Jessica Arnold for $150,000. Derek Franklin’s Cardinal Land Holdings sold the lot.
In Arkadelphia, a 1,709-SF brick home at the 200 block of Druid Hills sold for $139,000. Buying the home and an adjacent lot are Sherry and Timothy Pettit. Sellers Larry and Kyndal Bagley, of De Queen, bought the place in 2007 for $112,000.
Paul and Tammy Allbritton bought a 1,234-SF brick home at the 1000 block of North 15th Street, Arkadelphia, for $135,000. Sllers Jeffery and Madeline Bennington paid $79,000 for the property in 2018.
Rounding out the two-week period is the $110,000 sale of a 1,529-SF home at the 2300 block of Walnut Street, Arkadelphia. Stacy Parnham and Shelby Ensminger bought the home from Chad and Michelle Conroy, who paid $79,000 for the property in 2002.
