Several lottery players recently claimed top prizes at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center.
A Bradley County woman won $500,000 playing 200X the Cash, a $20 instant game. She purchased the winning ticket at Cash’s #4471, 321 Main St, in Hermitage, and claimed her prize Jan. 21.
“I was in disbelief,” the lucky winner told lottery officials. A longtime lottery player, she had purchased the scratch-off ticket, not anticipating the big win.
The winner will continue to play both scratch-offs and draw games. She also told lottery officials that she was happy to support Arkansas students with lottery-funded scholarships.
One $500,000 top prize remains on 200X the Cash.
The lottery luck came full circle for another winner, a Baxter County resident who recently won $350,000 playing $350,000 Jackpot. She bought the $20 winning ticket at E-Z Mart #4321, 913 E. 9th St., in Mountain Home.
The lucky winner told ASL officials that her children had benefited from lottery-funded scholarships. She never believed she would land a big lottery prize until she held the winning ticket in her hand.
“This can’t be real,” the player thought.
She first shared the good news with her husband, who was equally stunned. The pair remained in disbelief until the ticket was scanned at the ASL Claim Center. Then, they knew she had indeed won the $350,000 prize.
The winner plans to save her prize for retirement.
One $350,000 top prize remains on $350,000 Jackpot.
A third player, Charles Campbell of Boone County, won $250,000 playing 100X the Cash. He claimed his prize Jan. 20.
The winning ticket was purchased at White Oak Station Moark #15, located at 4281 Highway 65 S. in Harrison.
Campbell’s wife purchased the $10 winning ticket for him after noticing there were few left in the bin. A weekly lottery player, Campbell enjoys instant tickets with high payouts and in-state draw games, such as Natural State Jackpot, with better odds of winning.
Together, the pair scratched off the 100X the Cash ticket in Campbell’s truck. To their shock, the last row of the ticket revealed a $250,000 top prize.
“I cried happy tears,” Campbell confessed. “I was overjoyed and so thankful.”
With his wife already aware of the big win, Campbell decided to share the good news with his boss, then with his children. Campbell’s daughter cried with him, while his son congratulated him on the $250,000 prize.
Campbell is no stranger to winning big, having previously won $250,000 and $33,000 prizes. This time, he plans to save money and take his wife on a trip with his prize.
