Joseph Wesley “Joe” Hunter, age 93, of Mayflower, formerly of Manchester, passed from this life on Monday, December 22, 2025, at his home. He was born August 17, 1932, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Robert Cincinnati and Margie Arlene Gann Hunter.
Joe was a retired car salesman. He enjoyed gardening, cattle farming, fishing and hunting in his free time. Joe was a member of Manchester United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda Hunter, one daughter, Rebecca Williams, two brothers, Charles and Dale Hunter.
Survivors are one son, Bobby Hunter (Helen) of Mayflower, one daughter, Pam Williams of Porter, OK, one grandson, Cody Fissel (Chrystal), of Tulsa, two great grandchildren, Nathan and Imogen Fissel, one sister, Mary Jane Wood of Dumas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 29, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home with Chaplain Mica Gunter officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Monday at Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
Interment will be in Atchley Cemetery at Dalark.
