The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.
Arkadelphia Police Department
Tuesday, Dec. 23
A female reported an unwanted encounter with a known male who called her names and put his hands on her. The male then fled the area. She was advised on how to obtain a protection order.
Christmas Eve
Felony incident still under investigation: Sexual assault, second degree, 300 block of South 12th Street. Records at the Clark County Detention Center indicate that an arrest was made (see “Arrests in Clark County Arkansas” below).
12:50 p.m.
Police were called to Dollar General, 2727 Caddo St., for a store complaint of theft. Upon arrival an officer made contact with the suspect, 33-year-old Latoya Kenya Denise Wilson, of Arkadelphia, who was in the back seat of a vehicle. Wilson admitted to taking two bottles of wine, which were located beneath the seat in front of her. She was taken into custody and arrested for theft of property.
9:49 p.m.
A Yorkshire Drive man reported losing his wallet, likely at Walmart, earlier in the day.
