Cindy Rhodes, 71, passed away on October 27th, 2025, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s. She was surrounded by love and left behind memories that will last a lifetime.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jackie Rhodes; her daughter, Stacey Marlar (Chris); her sons, Jeff Rhodes and Greg Rhodes (April); her grandchildren—Carter Rhodes, Emma Rhodes, Lawson Rhodes, and Maddie Marlar; and her siblings, Betty Wood and Robert Allen.
Cindy was also the daughter of Bob and Ollie Jean Allen and sister to Kim Allen Palmer, all of whom passed on before her.
Everyone who knew Cindy felt her kindness and joy. She was always smiling, ready to share a story, and her faith in Jesus Christ shined through everything she did. Cindy loved talking about her Lord and Savior and found happiness in sharing her beliefs with others. Singing and dancing were two of Cindy’s favorite things, and her cheerful energy was contagious.
Cindy leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and joy. She touched so many lives with her warmth and prayers. Even though she’ll be missed, her memory will keep inspiring those who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at First Assembly of God in Gurdon at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Interment will be in Center Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Martin, Danny Paull, Jerry Palmer, Robert Russell, Chad Dillard, J L Griffin, and Gary Plyler.
