The Clark County Retired Teachers Association (CCTRA) heard from attorney Rick Medlock, who specializes in assisting individuals and families in navigating the complexities of trusts, wills, and powers of attorney in order to minimize legal hurdles.

Also Arkadelphia Superintendent Nikki Thomas informed the group of the urgent need to pass a millage increase for the construction of a new high school.

According to the state requirements, the 53-year-old Arkadelphia High School must be torn down and replaced. Thus, the 2 mills now being collected would be used for the building and another 3 mills will be needed to complete it.
