The extended forecast for the Arkadelphia area includes chances for precipitation beginning this Friday, Oct. 24, and through early next week.
After midnight Friday there will be a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock. Precipitation chances increase to 40% by Friday under otherwise mostly cloudy skies with a high near 72.
Saturday appears to have the highest chance for rain and thunderstorms, as there is a 60% chance in the predawn hours of Saturday with a low around 55. The chances for showers and a thunderstorm increase yet again to 70% by Saturday, with a daytime high near 68.
Saturday night could be a wet one, as well, with a 60% chance for precipitation. Rain chances continue, but are slim, through early next week.
