Sharon Faye Riggle, age 87, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Nightingale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born May 20, 1938, in Manning, the daughter of the late John M. and Rubye Gordon Love.
Sharon was a graduate of Sparkman High School. She and her husband John Riggle owned and operated KVRC-KDEL radio station in Arkadelphia for many years. Sharon was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed taking care of her pets, yardwork, gardening, hunting and fishing in her free time.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John M. Riggle, and two sisters, Jackie Atha and her twin sister, Sadie Wallis.
Survivors are her daughter, Deborah Presley Brown (Phillip) of Vicksburg, MI, two sisters, Gwen Love of Arkadelphia and Peggy Cummings of Sparkman, one brother, John Charles Love of Sparkman, one grandson, Micah Bishop (Emily), three great-grandchildren, Abigail and Chloe Bishop and Aries Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. James Guthrie officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are John Atha, Jim Arnold, Micah Bishop, Travis Love, Chris Love and Sean Alsobrook.
