Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Staff at Providence Veterinary Clinic, 214 N. 25th St., reported suspicious activity by a man described as a Hispanic male around 20 years old and clad in a suit, claiming he was a representative of AT&T and selling Internet service and a cell phone. The “salesman” inquired how his friend from last week did. Asked for a business card, he didn’t have one and took pictures of the lobby before leaving. Another employee said that a different Hispanic male — also around 20, wearing a suit, and claiming to represent AT&T — entered the clinic the previous Thursday and attempted to obtain her personal information. That person reportedly walked around the lobby and went into the bathroom for up to a quarter-hour before leaving in a red BMW hatchback. Clinic staff was advised that extra patrol would be conducted at the business.
