A Camden youth reported missing since Thursday night, July 24, 2025 is apparently dead although his body has not been found.
Eva Barrett, the mother of William “Braden” Roberson, 18, posted the following message Sunday night on her Facebook page:
“With trembling hands, tears streaming down my face and a very heavy heart I am letting you all know Braden is with his baby sister in heaven. I know my sweet big hearted baby boy was welcomed by so many loved ones he has lost in his short 18 years. He was loved on earth more than he will ever know and is now in God’s kingdom. One sweet day I will hold my babies again,” the message said.
Roberson was last seen in security camera footage about 8:15 p.m.
Camden Police have said nothing publicly about the case, other than acknowledging in a Facebook post on Saturday that Roberson was the subject of a missing person investigation, and requesting information from people who may have details.
Three people cited by Roberson family members as persons of interest in his disappearance are in custody in Ouachita County and Bossier Parish, Louisiana.
