The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, Jan. 15
5:24 p.m.
A Clay Street man reported a motorist struck his parked car and left the scene without reporting the accident.

Friday, Jan. 13
12:11 p.m.
A Barkman Street man reported damages to his house, caused by a truck that clipped a utility line running above the street.

4:20 p.m.
Officers responded to Arkadelphia Probation and Parole, 601 S. 7th St., for an unruly probationer.

4:22 p.m.
Officers performed a welfare check on an elderly man residing at Twin Rivers Drive.

Thursday, Jan. 12
3:09 p.m.
A staffer at Arkadelphia Public School’s Alternative Learning Environment reported a fraudulent $500 transaction to her bank account and the theft of an extra car key from her desk.

Arrests in Clark County

Friday, Jan. 13
Daniel Billy Nash, 27, was arrested for failure to appear.

Kameron Xavier Reese, 20, was arrested for fleeing.

Saturday, Jan. 14
Chase Langstaff Browning, 19, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for two counts of murder.

Laroyce Browning, 40, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for hindering apprehension.
