The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

3 p.m.
A man reported a known female had been harassing him on Facebook. He was advised a report would be on file.

Juvenile report: Endangering the welfare of a minor-3rd degree
8:11 a.m.
An officer was summoned to Feaster Park for a Parks and Recreation complaint of property damage to a fence at Field #2. It appeared that someone had been doing donuts in the parking lot and lost control of the vehicle. Tire marks indicated the vehicle left the pavement and possibly struck the fence, which was leaning inward, then had to be pulled out by another vehicle. The report notes that the incident caused some $1,000 in damages.

An Elaine Circle man reported the possible theft of his sedatives.

8 a.m.
A female reported the theft of three knives from her 6th Street residence while she was away from home.

12:34 p.m.
An officer took a delayed report of terroristic threatening that allegedly occurred at an Elaine Circle residence on July 7. A female complainant said her nephew threatened to taser her with a stun gun he had retrieved from the garage.

Friday, July 11
8:04 a.m.
Officers were called to Ouachita Village Apartments, 11 Cypress Dr., for a report of a stolen TV. The complainant said she purchased the television for $30 from neighbors who later showed up at her apartment demanding the return of the TV. Because the neighbors kept her from shutting the door, she relented and gave them the TV. An officer advised that it was a civil matter but that a report would be on file.
3:53 p.m.
A man reported the theft of $654 from his Electronic Benefit Transfer account. He said the funds had been deposited onto his card earlier that day, but later discovered the account had been depleted. DHS told him three separate transactions were made in Pennsylvania.

Saturday, July 12
10:30 a.m.
Police were called to a residence at the 300 block of North 14th Street, where a female reported a known male had broken the rear passenger window of her SUV and fled on foot. A police search for the suspect was fruitless.

Sunday, July 13
6:34 p.m.
Police were called to Walmart for a report of an elderly female driving in the parking lot with her SUV door ajar. As an officer was entering the parking lot he observed the vehicle, door still open, exiting southbound onto W.P. Malone Drive. A traffic stop was made, and the driver appeared “a little confused.” Learning that she had no friends or relatives in the area, the officer escorted the driver to her Evonshire Drive home without further incident.

6 p.m.
An Alpine Road woman reported the theft of a utility trailer and tools from her backyard. A neighboring relative said he witnessed a white Chevrolet Silverado hook up to the trailer and leave the property, but was unable to see the driver’s face.
