Clark County real estate transactions recorded April 18 through May 1, 2025 having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.
Not to get our readers’ hopes up that a company is looking to create manufacturing jobs in Clark County, but the Alumacraft property at 1329 N. 10th St., Arkadelphia, now belongs to another marine company. In an acquisition that was finalized in April, the Minnesota-based Bryton Marine Group acquired Alumacraft and its assets, including the buildings and warehouses totaling 74,274-SF of space on 2.55 acres. The acquisition of the Arkadelphia property came with a $780,000 price tag. A For Sale sign remains on the front of the property. The grantee was named as Renaissance Properties 2025 LLC.
Group Living Inc. re-purchased the property at 1020 Hickory St. from Henderson State University for a price tag of $240,000. There are no online details outlining the square footage of the brick building that, until recent years, had housed Henderson’s Educational Opportunity Center. Henderson had previously acquired the property from Group Living in 2010.
Former Arkadelphia city board director and retired businessman Keith Crews bought the building that houses Dollar General and a locally operated boutique at 1301 N. 10th St. Crews acquired the property from Armstrong Bank in a $340,000 transaction that also includes a 1,680-SF warehouse on the western edge of the 1 acre. The property last sold in 2014 for $254,000.
The former Arkadelphia location of an Aaron’s Rent to Own at 1520 Pine St. has again changed hands, this time to Roger and Kadre Wingfield. The Wingfields bought the 6,000-SF storefront from MDC Box 1 LLC for $300,000. MDC is registered in Little Rock to a Bianca Martinez of San Diego, California. MDC bought the property in 2023 for $373,000.
In the DeGray community, a 3,207-SF frame siding home on Trigg Lane sold to Josh and Rebekah Kee for $332,500. Previous owners of the home and 20-acre spread were David and Brenda Trigg.
For $300,000 Shelly Craft’s namesake Craft Properties sold a 1/3-acre lot to Kevin Wieser. The online listing for the lot in the Craft Addition does not list an address or property details.
Jared Shaver bought a 1,789-SF brick home and 1 acre at the 600 block of Unity Road, in the DeGray community, for $245,000. Previous owners Phyllis and Joel Brewer picked the place up in 2020 for $159,909.
A 1,688-SF brick home at the 1900 block of Walnut Street, Arkadelphia, sold to Faith Whiteside for $181,750. Previous owners were Rodney Payne and Betsy Penney.
For $175,000 Thomas and Gwendolyn Kerg, et al, bought a 1,866-SF brick home at the 1500 block of Pine Manor Drive, Arkadelphia. Previous owners are Peggy and Ranie Sturba; Peggy paid $82,000 for the home in 2002.
In Okolona, Cassidy West bought a 1,240-SF brick home and 10.29 acres at the 7000 block of Highway 51 South for $160,000. Previous owners Patricia and Charles Gaylord picked the place up for $83,000 in 2004.
Carrie Hill bought a 1,635-SF frame siding home at the 100 block of Evonshire Drive, Arkadelphia, for $150,000. Previous owners Meredith and Alex Nisbet bought the property in 1992 for $91,000.
Near the Alpine community, a 1,216-SF mobile home and 5 acres at the 1800 block of Fendley Road sold to Cody and Fawna Kuykendall for $130,000. The Kuykendalls bought the house place from Zach and Keeli Buck, who gave $69,000 for it in 2015.
The final transaction this round is the $120,000 sale of a 1,476-SF brick-and-frame home at the 1700 block of Creekwood Drive, Arkadelphia. John and Evelyn Freibolt sold the property to JJA8 Properties LLC, which is registered to Jessica Arnold of Arkadelphia.
